Daily Check In

Just checking in to report that I did get in my workout for the day. I hit the gym and did 20 minutes of cardio on the elliptical. I then did about 10 minutes of weights, and 10 minutes of stretching. Not my best workout, by far. But remember that I'm just getting back into the swing of things.

They have recently moved my gym to a new building and gotten some new equipment. I think I like it. I can defnitely feel it working my abs, but the movement can feel a little awkward - mostly in holding form in my upper body.

I also ran into an old friend from highschool in the lockeroom. It was great to see her and I'm hoping we'll end up getting together!

Got home and made a healthy dinner that was pretty good. I chopped up zucchini, yellow pepper, onion, tomato, jalapeno, cilantro and garlic and put in a iron skillet. Topped with chili powder and lime juice. Then baked at 425 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkled lightly with cheese 5 minutes before taking it out. Yumm!!
